Dzień dobry kochani!

Na wstępie bardzo dziękuję za tak pozytywny odbiór naszej podróży do Grecji. Cieszy mnie ogromnie, że zdjęcia się Wam spodobały. Mam ogromną nadzieję, że świat wreszcie wróci do normy i będziemy mogli bezpiecznie, ale także bardziej swobodnie podróżować i poznawać nowe miejsca.

W zeszłym roku turystyka (ale nie tylko ona) przeżyła niemały wstrząs – zaczęła się pandemia i świat stanął. To było coś strasznego nie tylko dla biznesów, ale także dla krajów, którym głównym a czasem nawet jednym źródłem dochodu jest turystyka właśnie. Ciężko było się nam poruszać po własnym kraju a co dopiero z niego wyjechać. Było okres, gdzie było to po prostu niemożliwe.

Obiecałam, że przygotuję dla Was wpis o restrykcjach, dokumentach i też naszych doświadczeniach podczas tej podróży.

Na wstępie muszę też zaznaczyć, że obostrzenia i regulacje cały czas się zmieniają. Dlatego zawsze planując wyjazd i mając nawet wykupioną wycieczkę sprawdzajcie na bieżąco co jest wymagane. Po najświeższe informacje i wytyczne najlepiej zaglądać na stronę GOV w zakładce Informacje dla podróżnych.

Good morning!

First of all, thank you very much for the positive reception of our trip to Greece. I am happy that you liked the photos. I sincerely hope that the world will finally come back to normal and we will be able to travel safely and more freely and explore new places.

Last year, tourism (but not only tourism) experienced a considerable shock - a pandemic began and the world stopped. It was terrible not only for businesses but also for countries where tourism is the main and sometimes even one source of income. It was hard for us to move around our own country, let alone leave it. There was a time when it was simply impossible.

I promised that I will prepare an entry for you about the restrictions, documents, and our experiences during this trip.

At the outset, I must also point out that the restrictions and regulations are constantly changing. Therefore, when planning a trip and even having a trip bought, check what is required on a regular basis. For the latest information and guidelines, it is best to check the GOV website under the Travel Information tab.

Na początku września wybraliśmy się na wakacje do Grecji – na wyspę KOS. Lot mieliśmy z Poznania bezpośrednio na Kos.

Od biura podróży dostaliśmy wytyczne, że musimy mieć ze sobą:

- Unijny certyfikat szczepienia na Covid (lub jeśli ktoś nie był szczepiony – test z wynikiem negatywnym, można było też go zrobić na lotnisku lub zaświadczenie bycia ozdrowieńcem)

- kod QR wygenerowany na Greckiej stronie GOV (lecąc całą rodziną wystarczył jeden kod, gdzie podczas rejestracji wymieniamy wszystkich podróżujących razem z nami)

- kartę lokalizacji pasażera PLF (wypełnia się ja zarówno dla kraju, do którego lecimy jak i w Polsce – w PL można to zrobić online)

- Deklarację Pasażera dla celów ochrony zdrowia publicznego w związku z Covid

Przyznam szczerze, że przygotowanie tych dokumentów przysporzyło mi nie lada nerwów, trzeba pamiętać, że są one potrzebne w jedną i drugą stronę, generalnie nie ma nigdzie instrukcji lub wskazówek jak je wypełnić a niektóre punkty wzbudzają wątpliwości. Dlatego wypełniłam jak uważałam + wzięłam ze sobą dodatkowe puste formularze, żeby w razie konieczności wypełnić je na miejscu.

Jak się okazało prócz kodu QR z Greckiego GOVu, PLF online z PL strony i Certyfikatu zaszczepienia reszta dokumentów na żadnym z etapów podróży się nam nie przydała. Co nie oznacza, że nie powinno się tego ze sobą mieć.

O dokumencie tożsamości myślę, że wspominać nie trzeba, bo to jest potrzebne przy każdym wyjeździe.

Bardzo wygodną opcją jest aplikacja na telefon MObywatel – może i wolno działa, ale mamy wszystko pod ręką i spokojnie na lotnisku elementy wyświetlane w aplikacji były respektowane.

At the beginning of September, we went on vacation to Greece - to the island of KOS. We had a flight from Poznań directly to Kos.

We received guidelines from the travel agency that we must have with us:

- EU Covid vaccination certificate (or if someone was not vaccinated - negative test, could also have been done at the airport or a certificate of convalescence)

- QR code generated on the Greek GOV website (when flying with the whole family, one code was enough, where we list all traveling with us during registration)

- PLF passenger location card (it is filled in both for the country to which we fly and in Poland - in PL it can be done online)

- Passenger's declaration for the protection of public health in connection with Covid

I honestly admit that the preparation of these documents caused me a lot of nerves, you have to remember that they are needed both ways, generally, there are no instructions or tips on how to fill them out and some points raise doubts. That's why I filled in as I thought + I took additional blank forms with me to fill them in on the spot, if necessary.

As it turned out, apart from the QR code from the Greek GOV, PLF online from the PL website and the Inoculation Certificate, the rest of the documents were not useful to us at any stage of the journey. Which doesn't mean you shouldn't have it with you.

I think there is no need to mention the identity document because it is needed every time you leave.

A very convenient option is the MObywatel phone application - it may be slow, but we have everything at hand and at the airport, the elements displayed in the application were respected.

Restrykcje i przestrzeganie zasad

Jeśli miałabym podsumować przestrzeganie obostrzeń czy egzekwowanie ich. To przyznam szczerze, że wygląda to pół na pół. Generalnie ludzie często olewają sobie restrykcje i nie noszą maseczek, lub mają je na brodzie, czy pod nosem, żeby nikt się nie przyczepił. 

O dezynfekcji nie wspominam, bo ludzie często nie myją rąk po skorzystaniu z publicznej toalety, a co dopiero o późniejszych ich zdezynfekowaniu.

Na lotnisku i w samolocie – przez cały czas trwania lotu – obowiązkowe są maseczki. Można je zdjąć w strefach gastronomicznych lub jedząc na pokładzie.

Obowiązują one także w autobusach i taksówkach.

Na wejściu do lotniska nikt nie sprawdzał nam temperatury, nie zauważyłam też, aby komuś była zwrócona uwaga za brak maseczki. 

Tak jak jeszcze w kolejkach, czy podchodząc do kontroli ludzie w większości maseczki mieli, tak w terminalu czekając na lot ¾ zdjęła.

W samolocie, przez cały czas trwania lotu należało mieć na twarzy maseczkę - jedynym wyjątkiem były dzieci, ale także osoby spożywające posiłek. Jak możecie się domyśleć większość pasażerów była okropnie spragniona i głodna podczas lotu (ale to było do przewidzenia). Obsługa była miła, kilka razy komunikowała noszenie maseczek przez mikrofon - ale personalnie do nikogo nie podeszła (przynajmniej nie w naszym otoczeniu), ale z drugiej strony nie dziwi mnie to - przecież nie będą się z kimś kłócić czy szarpać. 

Jeśli chodzi o nasz hotel to maseczki obowiązkowe były w każdej restauracji – w częściach, gdzie goście mogli sami nakładać sobie jedzenie (tutaj obsługa bardzo tego pilnowała, dodatkowo nakładając jedzenie trzeba było mieć jednorazowe, foliowe rękawiczki – wszystko w hotelu było dostępne), w restauracjach la carte (czyli takich, gdzie dania wybieramy z menu i są serwowane do stolika) maseczkę trzeba było mieć na sobie wchodząc do restauracji i odchodząc od stolika. I za to wszystko ogromny plus dla hotelu.

W centrum – wszędzie na mieście na otwartych przestrzeniach nie trzeba było nosić maseczek, obowiązek jest oczywiście w sklepach, restauracjach i zamkniętych pomieszczeniach. Aczkolwiek w małych sklepikach, czy na stoiskach z pamiątkami nie zawsze ludzie maseczki mieli i nikt się za bardzo tym nie przejmował.

Restrictions and adherence to rules

If I were to sum up compliance with or enforcement of the restrictions. I must admit that it looks like a half and a half. In general, people often ignore restrictions and do not wear masks, or have them on their chin or under their noses, so that no one gets stuck.

I do not mention disinfection because people often do not wash their hands after using the public toilet, let alone disinfect them later.

Masks are compulsory at the airport and on the plane for the entire duration of the flight. You can take them off in food and drink areas or while eating on board.

They also apply to buses and taxis.

At the entrance to the airport, no one checked the temperature for us, and I did not notice that anyone was noticed for the lack of a mask.

Just like in queues, or when approaching the control, most of the people were wearing masks, in the terminal waiting for the flight ¾ took off.

On the plane, you had to wear a face mask for the entire duration of the flight - the only exception were children, but also people eating a meal. As you can imagine, most of the passengers were terribly thirsty and hungry during the flight (but that was to be expected). The staff was nice, several times communicated wearing masks via the microphone - but she did not approach anyone personally (at least not in our environment), but on the other hand, it does not surprise me - they will not argue or jerk anyone.

When it comes to our hotel, masks were obligatory in every restaurant - in the parts where guests could put their own food (here the service was very careful about it, additionally, when putting food on, you had to have disposable foil gloves - everything in the hotel was available), in restaurants a la carte (i.e. where the dishes are selected from the menu and are served at the table) you had to wear a mask when entering a restaurant and leaving the table. And for all that, a huge plus for the hotel.

In the center - everywhere in the city, in open spaces, it was not necessary to wear masks, of course in shops, restaurants and closed rooms. However, in small shops or at souvenir stands, people did not always wear masks and no one cared too much about it.

Słowem podsumowania, przed podróżą dość mocno się stresowaliśmy wszystkimi wytycznymi, zwłaszcza dokumentami i formalnościami jakie trzeba dopełnić. Pamiętajcie o tym, ponieważ przez takie niedopatrzenie możecie nie polecieć na wakacje.

Warto przygotować wszystko wcześniej i dwa razy sprawdzić. To, że w naszym przypadku dokumenty w wersji papierowej nie były potrzebne to nie oznacza, że pracownik np. lotniska Was o nie nie poprosi.

Mimo tego, że lecimy na wakacje, chcemy się zrelaksować i odciąć od szarej rzeczywistości pamiętajcie proszę o bezpieczeństwie. Te kilka godzin w maseczce nie zrobi Wam wielkiej krzywdy (może nie będzie zbyt komfortowe) ale skutki choroby mogą być gorsze i warto o tym pamiętać.

Myślę, że na ten moment wyczerpałam temat – jeśli jednak macie jakieś pytania, to zadawajcie je w komentarzach. Na wszystkie chętnie odpowiem.

To sum up, before the trip we were quite stressed about all the guidelines, especially the documents and formalities that need to be completed. Keep this in mind, because such an oversight may prevent you from going on vacation.

It is worth preparing everything in advance and checking twice. The fact that in our case the paper documents were not needed, it does not mean that an employee of e.g. the airport will not ask you for them.

Despite the fact that we are going on vacation, we want to relax and disconnect from the gray reality, please remember about safety. These few hours in the mask will not do you much harm (maybe it will not be very comfortable), but the effects of the disease may be worse and it is worth remembering.
